After encouraging us with the certainty of the Christian life based on the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophetic Scriptures (chapter 1), and warning us about false teachers with the church (chapter 2). Peter brings this all together with the certain truth of the Second Coming of Jesus. This morning, we begin chapter 3 and what it says about these false teachers who scoff at the Second Coming.
