Acts 18 highlights the providence of God in preparing a preacher for ministry.
Priscilla and Aquila, after being exiled from their homeland, were led by divine providence to Corinth. There, they established a tent-making business and provided lodging for Paul, working alongside him. It's possible they were converted during this time, but it is certain that they grew in grace and understanding of the Scriptures. Later, Priscilla and Aquila accompanied Paul to Ephesus, where they encountered Apollos.
Apollos, a Jew with a deep knowledge of the Scriptures, was known for his diligence and fervor for the Lord. Despite his eloquence and abilities, he lacked a full understanding of Jesus Christ. Priscilla and Aquila completed his education, revealing to him the work of Christ and preparing him to proclaim the message of salvation effectively.
