In God's Providential outworkings, after – i) Job's loss of his wealth (1v12 – 22), and transitioning into the second chapter, herein lies: ii) Job's loss of his health (2v1 – 10). In this second segment of job's trials, there are thrusted between two brackets of his proven piety and trust in God. Thus (1v22) and (2v11) underlies Job's integrity and faithfulness toward the Sovereign Lord. Between chapters 1 and 2, it's believed that 12 months had gone by. The 2 nd chapter reveals; the heavenly scene with a celestial conference with God and the myriads of Angels. Satan appeared before God, for the second time. God confronted him (2 – 5). Satan challenges God over Job's integrity with his skewed reasoning (4 – 6); Satan requests for further ill treatment of Job (5), the Lord permitted with divine perimeters imposed (4 – 6). Thus, Job endured and maintained His faithfulness toward God (7 – 10).
