By God's grace we must understand the function of the Law, that is, why was the Law given. 5. And God gave many reasons to that question of the function/purpose of the Law. 6. But He said, the Law was the ministry of death and condemnation and Christ brought an end to it for the elect. 7. The redeemed cannot be under two ministries, One of death and the other of life.
