We in "The West", like the House of Israel, have forgotten The Giver of our freedoms. We have been spoiled, and in our spoiled, marred condition, we have developed a false sense of entitlement.
The reality is that God is the Potter, and we are the clay. Like a potter with clay, He is in absolute control of our life and our eternal destination. We are in His hands alone. He is sovereign.
We must understand our marred, sinful condition and our absolute need for our confidence in the flesh and world to be broken down, in order for us to be built anew in Christ.
