"Forgive us our debts". One of the greatest mercies of God is that He shows us our sin. It is God's nature to forgive and He delights in mercy. Although God may be quick to forgive, this does not give believers a license to sin. In fact this truth should cause us not to want to sin and ask God for daily cleansing.
