God knows the end from the beginning and He had a sacrifice ready even though it was painful for Him. God created mankind and the animals and He has authority and ownership to be able to start again if He would like. God already has His plan worked out. Historically, when a culture that looks at violence and gore, that is a sign that the society is about to fall. Noah did everything, just as God commanded. Noah walked with God even though no one had done it before. That is the way we must obey the scriptures. We too must do what God commands.
