“ How a true spiritual physician counsels ” The year of this writing is 1843. There is an outbreak of cholera in the community. A faithful pastor well skilled in giving counsel to awakened sinners visits the death bed of a lady who made a "profession" long ago. After a series of questions he determines it is safest to warn her that her former profession was FALSE, that she had been building on the sand. NO EASY TASK. If it is alarming to find out that one is a hypocrite in times of health, it is even more desperate if the person learns of this days before entering into eternity. But the wall must be broken down that was daubed with untempered mortar.
