God's word has to be prefect and not missing a single letter or punctuation. God's word is also the truth and is preserved! Some versions actually do not proclaim the virgin birth of Jesus. Jesus being born of a Virgin is a very important key to Him being sinless. If Joseph was His father, he would not have been sinless. The King James Version does have the virgin birth and it does not omit words from the Hebrew and the Greek.
