Great Sermon! Dear Pastor, God bless you for this Word! I am a missionary in Nigeria and the internet here is too expensive for most people. That is why it is not a 'national sin' (for now). Thank you for sensitizing me against the dangers ahead. God bless you, your family and ministry, In Christ alone, Lia Leigh.

Great Sermon! I don't believe that Brother Hummel was intending to say that the internet is only evil, I think he was merely pointing out the dangers if one is not careful. I have met Brother Hummel in person, actually he is preaching in my church right now! I am at home with my sick son listening to sermons. I have also read his book, "The Darkside of the Internet". He does not condemn the internet in it's entirety. But he does recognize and is fighting against the evil that is right along side the good.

Only half the Story Dr. Hummel does an excellent job of pointing out the dangers of the internet, but forgets that the internet is powerful tool both for good and evil. His message bares a subtle irony for me since it is only by the power of the internet that I am able to hear his message. Just as printing and Gutenberg brought the Bible to the world for the first time, the internet is just as revolutionary a communcation tool. Christians must find how this new paradigm in communication can be harnessed for good in the world. Sites such as this one are a good example of that good. I thank sermonaudio.com for bringing His message to all corners of the world.

Necessary For All I would exhort all who use or have the internet in their homes to listen to this and the second message on this subject. The Dark Side of the Internet is exposed by the light of these messages!

Incredible Sermon! This an incredible sermon!!! Listen to it, please! It's worth it!
Since 1978, Rand Hummel has given his life to helping teens. His unique, humorous approach to the Word of God has been an encouragement to teens all over the eastern United States. He loves God, the Word of God and teenagers. Other than this, he’s just an overall nice guy.
