We continue our exposition of Luke's gospel and find the 70 disciples return with great joy over the success of the gospel over Satan and his minions. We find the truth that the gospel proclamation is unstoppable by the evil one, for he has no power over Christ who works through the preaching of the gospel. But as much joy as we have in seeing Satan crushed under Christ's feet, Christ tells us that our greater joy is that our names are written in heaven. Luke 10:17-21.
