The soul makes us unique. It gives us rational thought, a conscience, moral understanding, and a deep awareness of God.
The soul is immortal and will one day stand accountable before God. To lose our soul is to forfeit all true happiness and the blessings God has bestowed upon us.
Before a holy God, our souls are utterly bankrupt. Death is His appointed collector, and if we desire life, we must be redeemed.
Only Christ can pay the price demanded by God's holy law. He alone is perfectly righteous and able to offer the ransom for our souls.
Have we truly considered the state of our soul? Will we cling to the fleeting things of this world and miss the opportunity for eternal salvation, or will we pause and seek the Lord while we can?
