In our current series we are learning about evangelism from the Master Evangelist, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In the four Gospels, we find that during His earthly ministry the Lord Jesus Himself set the pattern for the church's evangelistic efforts. We began on our last program in Mark chapter two, where Jesus deals with a man who is paralyzed. We saw the determination of the four men who brought the paralyzed man to Christ. Today, we conclude this message as we see how the Lord Jesus accomplishes a double miracle, and how He deals not only with the paralyzed man, but also with others in the room, each according to their spiritual condition and need.
Today the Holy Spirit is at work, knowing the individual condition of each one who hears the Gospel message. While God has given the work of proclaiming the message to believers, the results are His work. The preaching of the Gospel may confirm faith in the heart of a believer. Or, as the Spirit sees fit, the preaching of the Gospel may convict a soul of sin and bring that soul to repentance from sin and to empty-handed faith in Jesus Christ. In every case, it is God's work.

Teaching Sermon! This sermon shows how many people can be involved separately, to bring someone to The Gospel for salvation. While we do not save anybody, our effort can be through the power of the Lord to the unsaved. Each of us can do our part by the power of the Holy Spirit to receive God's Grace for salvation through Faith in Jesus Christ. We all have a reason for our salvation and for proclaiming The Word whenever we can.
