The true Christian rejoices in what is to come, not in the present circumstances. He has his eye on eternity and not so much on the present. His faith, if it is real, will be tested and tried by fire, and he will be in heaviness much of the time. But it is all done in the love and wisdom of God and to enrich his eternal reward.
