I. We must acknowledge that God has a reason for all that happens in our lives. 1-8

II. We must accept God's purpose and control over all that happens. 9-11 Romans 11:33
III. We must appreciate the time we have as a gift from God.12-13
IV. We must apply the truths of God's sovereignty over time and events to our own attitude toward God. 14-15
V. We must live in light of God's judgment. 16-21 Ecclesiastes 12:7
VI. We must live for the present day. 22 Matthew 6:33-34
Implications: 1. We walk by faith and not by sight, leaving the unanswered questions and prayers reverently with Him.
2. We trust that God works all things together for good to those who love Him, conforming us to the image of Christ (Romans 8:28-29).
3. We celebrate God's eternal plan. Galatians 4:4 |
