Each of us has a work or task that needs to be done. Often times we find that each of us needs some encouragement to finish the assignment. Here we find that David had a desire to do something for God but he was prevented from doing it. What was to be done was to be handled by another. God wants to shine through us but we can get sidetracked and not get to finish. We need to encourage one another to serve the Lord mind, body, and soul. If you are not sure what God has called you to do look around you there are many things that are obvious assignments for us. Deal with these first and see where God leads.
