This is a study of Paul's 2nd epistle to the Thessalonians, which was written shortly after his first epistle to them. There was false doctrine that was circulating in the church at Thessalonica, that led Paul to write so quickly after his first letter to them. Because of the intense persecution they found themselves under they had come to accept that the day of the Lord had come. Since this was way off the mark, Paul gave them the truth as to why that was not the case. Here we look at the One Who is the restrainer of the man of sin, who will not be able to come until the time that God in His sovereignty has determined.
