This is the third part of what has turned into a series on our work ethic as Christians from God's perspective. This section on vocation or calling will be broken into two parts. This session uses 1 Corinthians 7:17-24 to focus on what aspects of the Chrisian life are impacted by our vocation. Recognizing that God sovereignly calls us into our family relationships; gender and racial identity; cultural and social status, as well as our occupation. It also sets some guidelines for what is covered by the concepts of vocation, occupation and avocation. Additionally, the conclusion touches on some warnings and recommendations regarding vacations.
