The latest installment in our adult Sunday school series through the Book of Romans. In this lesson, we look at Romans 4:1-12. This is a crucial passage in our understanding of Justification by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.
We start off by looking at some "misunderstandings" of justification and first century Judaism by looking at the New Perspective on Paul and Dispensationalism. Then we dig into Romans 4:1-12 to show that not only has Justification ALWAYS been by grace through faith, but that Justification isn't understood as "covenantal nomism" like the New Perspective on Paul teaches.
We hope you are blessed by this lesson.
