Consequently, my main source must be the post-Pentecost Scriptures. But as we know (Rom. 15:4; 1 Cor. 10:1-12; 2 Tim. 3:15-17), every part of Scripture holds invaluable – indeed, essential – lessons for the believer. And that is why this chapter and the next are not pointless digressions.
