Open the Window of Amazing Grace Titus 2:11-15 Grace is the "underserved love and favor of God toward man." It means that any sinner can be saved! Any storm can be weathered. Any situation can be faced. When we sing Amazing Grace, we are telling the truth. This passage is one of the clearest in the Bible on grace and its results. Notice three facts about God's amazing grace. 1. Grace Saves Us v. 11 The Grace of God brought the Christian life with salvation and made it available to all men based on faith in Christ and what Christ did at the cross. 2. Grace Schools Us (Teaches Christian Living) v. 12 The Christian life is about denying ungodliness and worldly lusts. It can only be done by living soberly, righteously, Godly and by making the Cross the Object of faith, and this gives the Holy Spirit the work in our lives to open the window of Grace. 3. Grace Separates Us v. 13-14 The blessed Hope is the Rapture of the church and the glorious appearing of our savior Jesus Christ. Jesus redeemed us on the Cross and atoned for every sin, past, present and future. To all who open the Window of Amazing Grace and believe in their heart. The Christian life is about the work within the parameters of the Sacrifice of Jesus from the spirit by the object of our faith. Now, the Bible says, in the ages to come, you and I are going to be trophies of His grace. We are His peculiar possession. The Captain of our salvation went to bloody Calvary, defeated Satan, and paid the sin debt, and "redeemed unto himself a peculiar people". John Newton, that wicked sailor, said Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now am found, was blind but now I see.
