In lesson 6 we come to Job's repsonse to the 4 plagues that befell him. Satan was certianly expecting for him to blaspheme God. However, Job while still expressing grief, also proclaims the Lord's sovereign right to give and take away. But further, yet Job not only acknowledges God's sovereign dealings with him, but worships the Lord too. So, in this act Job vidicates both himself and God against the wicked accusation of Satan who sought to undo Job and mock God.
