We are taking two messages to examine this well known "I Am" statement from Jesus. "I am the Bread of Life."
Certain passages in the Bible have very familiar phrases in them. To the degree that almost all of us know them. They are for the most part eventually nothing more than part of our "Bible Talk" or what we could call "Christian Speak." Bluntly put, cliches.
But ask yourself honestly, "How many of these cliches do I understand to the point they affect my daily living & thought life?"
It is for this reason Pastor Danny takes time to give two messages. When a powerful truth is nothing more than a popular cliche, it can be very difficult to take it well beyond that to "fresh learning that leads to fresh living."
