We see the first six vials of God's wrath in the form of plagues poured out as judgments that leave no more room for repentance before Judgment Day. We see that God's finalizing wrath poured out on His enemies manifests their blasphemy. Yet we see that God's wrath against the enemies of His people manifests His people's praise. There are two groups of people, those who take the name of the Beast and worship him who thus have God's wrath and curses begin to pour out on them (vs. 2); and those who keep their garments clean and are blessed for worshiping only the LORD (vs. 15), for they receive God's deliverance through His just punishments of their persecutors, just as He did to Egypt and Pharaoh (the typological allusion in these plagues).
