We find here the answer to Hannah's prayer as well as the keeping of the vow she had made. I am reminded of Luke's narrative of the cleansing of the ten lepers in chapter 17 of his gospel - only one healed leper returned to give thanks and to worship. This is the heart of Hannah. The Lord remembered her, and she remembered her promise. The psalmist declares in 116:12-14 - What shall I render to the LORD for all His benefits toward me? I will take up the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD. I will pay my vows to the LORD now in the presence of all His people. May we have such a heart of praise and worship to our great God.
