It is part of God's full and perfect gift of salvation, part of this glorious package. There is the initial and the continual repentance that occurs over the lifetime of the believer as he progresses and perseveres in God's sovereign sanctification. No matter how dark it gets, as with Naomi, the Lord always pulls through for us though it be a darksome path because of our sin or some trial we are enduring. What a blessing to know that our gracious God is working everything, all the time, for our good!
