Great Sermon! Very good message /warning about the prolific but warped writings & mind of C.S. Lewis. So sad that people quote from C.S. Lewis instead of quoting from the very words of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I worked in 2 Christian Book and Bible stores in So. Cal., USA, and the owner/buyer stocked Lewis' titles. I never suggested anyone read his stuff but instead urged them to buy "More Than A Carpenter" or "The Resurrection Factor" for good apologetics books.
Lewis might ( maybe ) have been a Christian --- but his famous writings are not Biblical.
If you want to read good writings by an English author --- read anything written by Bishop J.C. Ryle of Liverpool, or John Bunyan.
Hope some more Pastors/Profs./Teachers will tell the truth about this weaver of fantasy tales & Sci-fi silliness. Stick with the Bible instead of buying/reading stuff by someone who did NOT trust all 66 Books to be inspired.

A much need sermon! Thank you pastor for such a studied and especially biblical exposition on C. S. Lewis’ shameful life and corrupt writings. It is scary that the majority of church members in the West have been taken in by this wolf in sheep’s clothing; an obvious sign that the Word of God is not being read in the home or preached from the pulpits and that folks and pastors rather yearn for being accepted by this fallen world.

Great Sermon! The best I've heard for clarity, impeccable research using a strong biblical foundation!
Absolutely the best I've heard on this site.

Great Sermon! Great message! much needed, and unfortunately the blind will remain unheeded. I commend Bro. Reed for his research, clarity, and stand. Does the Bible trump CS LEWIS or does Lewis trump the Bible. I fear what the answer will be in too many hearts.

Very Urgent Sermon! This message is great! I wish many more pastors would warn about C.S. Lewis, instead of embracing him and recommending his occult books. It's funny that on a website that promotes the doctrinal positions of John Calvin, that so many preachers would embrace the Catholic Church-loving Lewis. But so many are mesmerized by this heretic. It isn't hard to conclude what spirit is behind this mass love of C.S. Lewis.
