Here at this pool was a great many people who had issues, not just this one man. Jesus picked out this one man for us to see clearly. For the last thirty eight years this man was focused on the pool to try to get there first but the Savior was focused on him. Even after Jesus started to talk to him he could only focus on the problem. We often do the same thing, the solution is standing right in front of us but we choose to continue looking our own way.
