Where does discernment begin? 1. theology right theology leads to right faith 2. faith right faith leads to right living 3. right living (sanctification) right living leads to right glorifying 4. rightly glorifying God.
Where discernment is lacking so too will progression through these 4 steps be lacking.
Why did Jesus use Leaven to describe the false teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees?
1. it is slight and unimportant in appearance. 2. it is implanted into the soul unaware and silently. 3. it acts gradually. 4. it acts most certainly. 5. it will pervade the whole being and bring all the faculties under its influence.
