Worship is the starting point of a life devoted to the service of God. If our worship is right, generally speaking, our life will be right before the Lord.
This chapter contains key principles for worship: 1) every act of divine worship is a presenting of ourselves before God.
2) worship and devotion is a response to what God has done for us. Consider God's electing love, the work of Christ in atonement at Calvary, the Lord's irresistible call, His preserving work throughout our lives and the greatness of His providence.
3) worship must be God centred and unadulterated.
