Cuando hablamos de la elección soberana, estamos hablando de la salvación del hombre que es el pináculo de la teología cristiana. Los temas de la soteriología tienen que ver con el corazón mismo del Evangelio y con el núcleo central de la historia redentora.
Y en este mensaje titulado: "La Elección Soberana" vamos a comenzar en la eternidad pasada, porque la historia redentora tiene su génesis en la eternidad.
Este mensaje se divide en tres puntos: Misterio; Manera; Meta…
En la eternidad pasada vemos el misterio de la elección soberana, misterio entendido como una doctrina inaccesible a la razón humana, y que debe ser objeto de fe. Luego nos zambullimos en el tiempo o la historia, en la creación de Dios, para apreciar la "manera" a través de la cual Dios alcanza Su elección soberana. Y finalmente, nos posicionamos en la eternidad futura, dónde veremos la meta de la elección soberana de Dios, es decir, apreciaremos el objetivo por el cual Dios elige soberanamente.
