Ephesians 3:20-21 is a doxology wherein Paul expresses the surpassing, ultimate aim of the church ('to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus,'). In this first message of a brief series several New Testament doxologies are surveyed and three summary lessons, arising from them, are identified. Then the Ephesians 3:20-21 doxology is examined contextually as the grand climax to the first three chapters of the letter and as the conclusion to Paul's prayer beginning in 3:14. May we be liberated from the small heartedness of self pleasing and self absorption that we may 'with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ' in His church.
