1 Cor. 10:24 Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor. 14:3 the one who prophesies speaks to people for their upbuilding and encouragement and consolation.
Phil. 2:3-4 3 Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. 4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Same idea.
1 Jo. 4:11,20-21 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. .. 20 If anyone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot[a] love God whom he has not seen. 21 And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.
