1) This is our last gospel installment from the book of Esther and it has been a wonderful blessing learning and exposing God's testimony of Christ and our salvation in this drama.
2) The whole series is a must hear, but if for some reason you don't want to-you can sample the understanding of the book in this message.
3) But here is the bigger point-salvation was always about God introducing Himself to His people through the cross of Christ and never any other way.
4) Sin, death and condemnation came by God's decree that we may know Christ through His accomplished salvation and freely imputed righteousness.
5) The death of Christ accomplished a sure foundation for all the elect-a foundation and salvation which cannot be set aside-because God's glory is tied to our justification.
6) In the drama of Esther, Mordechai and the Jews-the decree that sought to destroy the people was lifted and replaced by a superior decree that blessed them. Justification cannot be lost-because the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable.
7) Mordechai was honored and became second only to King Ahasuerus as a testimony of the sitting and glory of Christ after He made an end to the purification of sin.
8) Mordechai continued to be a fervent advocate for the peace and welfare of all his people as Christ continues to be a faithful High Priest-ever living to make intercession for His people.
9) This is a whole message and may God be pleased to give the time, patience and ears to hear and understand the arguments all the way to the end. AMEN!
