Paul states, 'But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life' (Romans 6.22). We have been set free from sin. We have become slaves of God. We live in the realm of righteousness not sin. Therefore, we must choose to present ourselves to God's service and obey Him. If we do, we will exhibit the holiness of God in thought, word, and deed. This is fruit to holiness. We can lay hold of everlasting life right now and live it. Everlasting life is more than a destination, it is a state of being.

Comforting Sermon! Once we become a child of God through His Grace and Faith in Jesus Christ we have a new life to live. But our old sin nature still has to be fought because of temptations to do things of our old sin nature. But we must dedicate ourselves to obedience to God and not to Satan. This battle goes on but if we continue to let the Holy Spirit dictate our behavior we will draw closer to Jesus Christ in our daily walk.
