John has insisted that the Logos had been present in the world from the beginning. But now He had come in a new way, not as merely immanent but incarnate. And this new presence would see a new progeny for God. This message examines that theme and the meaning of John's statement within the larger context.

Great Sermon! Kit nails it again! Excellent sermon explaining how it is that with the coming of the incarnate Logos the purpose of God to rescue and restore (actually, to fulfill) His creation has been accomplished! And I love Kit's emphasis on God's desired purpose to share His life with human beings. God's call to us all is to come to Him in Christ and participate in His very life! This is what "salvation" is! This is what it means to be human! Answer God's call--come to Him! (Let us) arise, shine; for (our) light had come, and the glory of the LORD had risen upon (us)!
