He first has to Execute the sinner, in a Substitute. Then he then can show mercy by raising him from the dead, thus saving him. You spoke something near to this, I thought it was worthy to repeat here. Great sermon, we have no lasting righteousness nor water in this dry and thirsty land, without Christ daily loading us with his benefits. Praise to Him alone for the Faith Of God in Christ. Amen.
