This is the fifth sermon in Pastor Phillips' series on Calvinism - known as the Doctrines of Grace. These are contrasted to the opposing system, known as Arminianism, which emphasizes free will. This sermon discusses the second point of Calvinism: unconditional election.

Sovereignty of God exalted. Good biblical argumentation. Explanation of what foreknowledge and foreordination is. Condition of election is found in God and not in the sinner. God had chosen some for salvation only out of His love.

Great Sermon! Great Series! Pastors Phillips addresses the issues in a clear, intelligent, articulate, and balanced manner. He even addresses the difficult passages for the Calvanist view, which is very helpful. How refreshing compared to the ranting and raving of other Calvinist when they're preaching on the five points.
