As members of a New Testament Church, our testimony is important. Our conduct should revolve around the Word. The Word made flesh: Jesus Christ being our head as a church body and our ensample as believers. The Word taught: Sound doctrine and "rightly dividing the word of truth" will help inform us how we ought to conduct ourselves. And the Word applied: With Christ as our ensample and knowing sound doctrine, we must strive to make application in our lives. It is through the pre-eminence of the word and proper application that we can behave ourselves with charity, pure hearts, and faith unfeigned.
