Psalm 45, the prophecy of the king in His beauty, is one such passage. But to paraphrase C.H. Spurgeon, although I can't spread before you all the rich food this psalm contains, yet I can attempt to 'gather a few crumbs that fall from the Master's table.' The psalmist's heart was 'overflowing with a good theme,' as he recited 'his composition concerning the king.' But this is a king like no other, for 'Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.'
