The World Council of Churches recently arranged a Conference in Toulouse, France, in an effort to agree a 'Code' on the issue of 'Conversion.'
The joint Vatican-World Council of Churches (WCC) consultation convened some 30 Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, Pentecostal and Evangelical theologians and church representatives in Toulouse, France, this past week for the high-level meeting entitled, 'Towards An Ethical Approach to Conversion: Christian Witness in a Multi-Religious World.'
During the course of this discussion, Rev. Dr. Hans Ucko, (WCC program executive for inter-religious dialogue and cooperation), gave an interview to National Public Radio (NPR). His answers to questions posed in this interview are most amazing - and distressing!
He evidences grave error on the key issues of:
1. The Great Commission of Christ to His people to, 'Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature';
2. True Christian compassion;
3. The Claim of the Bible that Christ is the unique Saviour.
