Now they are back and here to rebuild the temple. For some of the people this second temple was a disappointment because they remembered the the good old days of Solomon's temple. There were those who didn't like it because it meant change and still others didn't care for it because it just wasn't what they thought it should be. But all of that shows them looking at what was before them and not what it represented, which was the true focal point. The whole point of the temple and the tabernacle that proceeded was to get the people focused on God and the things of Him.
