A modern Christian would have had him down "the Romans Road," in a few minutes, praying "the sinner's prayer." Jesus pointed him to the ten commandments, of all things---then asked him to sell all his possessions and give to the poor and come, take up his cross and follow Him. It may seem to you,at first glance, that Jesus could have used a refresher course in evangelism. I would recommend that you take a closer look.
