This week we look at two new prayers of Paul. One of simple thankfulness to "Christ Jesus or Lord" and one that praises and declares to God all Honor and Glory forever. Being struck by the spontaneous and worshipful nature of these seeming "out of place" statements we look at other such statements in scripture and marvel at the deep understanding and spiritual appreciation of who God is by these authors. These statements are found in both the New and Old Testament and are humbling to us in their reflection of the hearts of the writers.
