In a most marvelous way, this burden highlighted that Zion's restoration meant the reconciling and ingathering of the nations. But Zion remained captive, so that her restoration meant her liberation which, in turn, implied her victory over the adversaries who had taken her captive. Thus the announcement of the coming of Zion's king is followed in the burden by the Lord's word of assurance concerning Zion's full and everlasting triumph.
