Milburn Cockrell was the late editor of the Berea Baptist Banner. The neglect of church discipline was a problem back in 1979 and is even more of a problem today. Too many churches and "churches" are more concerned with money instead of biblical holiness, more concerned with the world's applause than the Lord's glory. Love to God and love to others will always exercise itself in the doctrine of church discipline as the occasion requires it. May God grant a revival of this practice and the resulting increase of holiness give glory to our God and bless the saints of God.
