If God is supposed to be the giver of all good things (cf. James 1:17), why do we experience bad things? If a person can perform what looks like a miracle, does that indeed confirm that it from God? And is it ever acceptable to obey the God partially, letting our outward expressions show obedience while our heart is bitter? These questions are what we explore from this passage.
