There are things we call Gray Areas because there are things in the Bible where God doesn’t say thou shalt or thou shalt not. When I went to Moody Bible Institute there was this theme, “Toot, Toot, we’re the guys of the institute we don’t smoke, we don’t chew, and we don’t go with girls who do.” Now, the Bible doesn’t say anything about not smoking, not chewing, not going with girls who do. I don’t argue with that standard. It was just a standard and we accepted it back then. But what do you do when you are faced with a decision about a thing and it isn’t inherently or obviously wrong on the surface, but it isn’t obviously right and you wonder what to do. Hopefully these verses in their context will make us understand those things.
