The visit paid to the shepherds by the angels was something else; but what is of greater interest for us today is what happened afterward. These lowly shepherds who were a bunch of nobody’s had been given great news and they followed through on it. While this flock was given the information they were also told to fear not, just as we should do. There was a forecast given with a sign or favor to show them the way. In fellowship they went with a fire in their souls for what God had promised them. And when they found it true they went about forwarding this great news of salvation to everyone they met. When we came to Jesus did we do this as well? Whether we did or did not now is the time to follow through on spreading the gospel just as these men did.
