Well, this is now the seventh word of Paul's lists and the last word in Galatians chapter 5 verse 22, a fruit of the Spirit Paul calls faithfulness. And when we think of faithfulness or being faithful, we may also think of words like; committed or reliable, dependable or trustworthy. Of a character and life that speak about being truthful or true to ones word, true to ones promises, ones commitments, vows and financial agreements, all of these have in some way or another that element of faithfulness ascribed within them, of one being faithful in the things of their life. We may also think of the faithfulness of God, of His word, of what it says He has done in the past, the things He does in the present. And also of His promises and prophecy of what He says will come in the future. That just as God was faithful in all of the things of the Old Testament He is just as faithful in the New, including the things of the things yet to come.
